Ardennes is an ongoing series of photos that explores the region of the Ardennes. Situated in the north of Luxembourg, the south of Belgium and in the far north east of France, the region is especially known for its hilly and woody landscape. Less prosperous are the French and Belgian parts of the Ardennes, visible through an abundance of abandoned buildings and empty shops. Overall, the region has a very unique vibe to it. The photo series tries to capture this feeling by combining photos of nature, industry and infrastructure that contribute to the region’s uniqueness.
